Terms of Sale

Purchasing with a credit card through rcaLamps.com and Discount Merchant's RCA Fulfillment Service may show up as Discount Merchant or MI Technologies, Inc. on your statement. Please be advised that Discount Merchant's services and warranties do not extend to RCA customers in such capacities as:

  • Warranty Repair (lamps, parts, or televisions)
  • Warranty Exchange (after 90 days)
  • Return Merchandise Authorization

Any returns or exchanges are made on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole descretion of rcaLamps.com and Discount Merchant. Returns may incur a 20% restocking fee.

Ultra High Performance lamps carry a 90 day manufacturer's warranty.

Shipping is at the sole descretion of rcaLamps.com and Discount Merchant. Shipping times will vary and products may take up to 2 business days to ship. rcaLamps.com and Discount Merchant will not be responsible, nor held liable, for loss or damage in shipment.

Return Policy

Lamps may only be returned or exchanged due to a factory defect. Please note that there is an extremely low occurance of factory defects (about 1 in 10,000 lamps we ship actually fail).

To help troubleshoot the defect, please call customer service at (866) 465-7197. Due to the nature of DLP televisions and other electronic components, the lamp or part may not be the problem. Please give us a call and we will help troubleshoot your television issue before sending out a lamp product.

Returns or exchanges must be done within 30 days of receipt of product.

To return or exchange a lamp or part, please call customer service and follow these steps:

  • You will be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number for your return.
  • You will need to mark your name and RMA number onto the box, and ship it with a traceable method such as FedEx, UPS, or the Post Office. Ask your shipping carrier for a tracking number or delivery confirmation number. Keep this number handy.
  • Call customer service at (866) 465-7197 with the tracking number to ensure speedy exchange or refund.

Test Policy

All lamps returned to our facility will be checked for the correct serial number, then tested to ensure its usability. If you are returning the lamp due to a defect, we will perform a courtesy test and contact you with the results within 10 business days. If the lamp is in working order, you may request a return of your working lamp, or a credit, less 20% restocking fee.
